Hey Everybody!

I'm a Portuguese graphic designer/illustrator and photographer... I have recently bought a gorgeous BJD to use as a drawing and photography model.

I am desperately seeking a good freelance BJD wig maker. I have a very specific idea of the kind of wig I want for my doll, but I can't find it anywhere so I thought about contacting a freelance wig maker directly, that would make a personalized wig for my doll. I don't know any... I have surfed the web trying to find one, but didn't have any luck... help please?

Hi, sup!

I'm your missing in action surprise owner/mod (seems like apple_garden retired from the community, and it made me in charge) and I respond to the name Reila, and I live in ze Norway!

I'm.. honestly not much into BJDs anymore, although I still frequent various forums.
The dolls I have in my belonging are, as a small update:
DollZone Megi
Dream of Doll
Mod Delf Sleeping El/Delf Annette (phew)
although I just put up the MSDs for sale ;; There's a few pictures of them floating around the community. My girl is still pretty anonymous on the internett so far haha.

This community is (luckily for me, I guess, since I don't really pay attention >_>) pretty much running itself. Sort of.. It's just kinda dead.

Maybe some themed contests or something would be of interest to spark some activity?
Any wishes of things that should be done?

Any events going on this year? Conventions, meet ups or anything? When, where and does it have a website? Is there some kind of directory where I can find doll related events?

About: I, an English speaking American created this community for several reasons. 1, I wanted to meet other BJD owners in Italy since I just moved here. 2, I didn't see a community in existence for BJD owners in Italy. Feel free to join and post pictures, ask questions and share information. Thank You

Well, the rules say I should introduce myself so I will do it.

I'm Sarah, 25 years old and from Germany.
Most of my time I spent with working.... apart from that I love music, reading, going to the cinemas and of course my bjd's.

Currently I have 5 of them at home but one is already stored in its box again because I want to sell her (Limhwa Human).
Further I have some floating heads which I and my flatmate use for face up training :)

Hope to have a nice time here....

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this community and to the dollfie community in general as well, I've recently become interested in them but haven't actually got round to buying one yet as they are rather expensive! I'm from the UK and have been in Japan studying abroad for the last 4 months, but I'm leaving next week ><

I went to Akihabara 2 days ago and found a slew of stores selling Dollfie stuff for what (at least to me) seemed reasonable prices, eg. 1,500 yen for a head, 500 yen for eyes etc. and so I'm thinking of going back there on Monday/Tuesday to maybe buy some pieces.

So, what I would like to ask is: whilst I am still in Japan (I leave next Thursday) is there anything anyone would like for their dollfies/accessories/parts etc ? Please let me know by Monday night if there's anything you want and I'll try to find it, then get it posted off to you before I leave (my luggage is already at the weight limit!). I saw some very nice outfits there for all kinds of dolls, mostly super dolfie but others too.

If interested please let me know: what kind of item you are after/description of it (if you're too specific it might be hard to find, so state the type of clothing/accessory and what kind of colour style and I'll try to get it :)), what price you are willing to pay for each item/total you want to spend by Monday night and I'll get back to you asap!

If you want to see some of the places that sell DOllfie stuff in Akihabara to choose what you want here's a couple of links (there are also other shops without websites)

This brown doll skirt is perfect for steampunk outfits and costumes, or for daily wear if you just like the colour brown :)
It's cheerfully short, but not too short (it will be longer on a Pullip or Blythe doll I imagine).
The fabric has stitched line details, which makes it extra special :)
It's for direct sale via my website :)
